One Body Youth Foundation
Equipping underprivileged youth from underprivileged communities with body and mind training to enable youth athletic equality.
One Body Youth Foundation is a local 501(c)(3) organization operating in Los Angeles County offering body and mind training at no cost to local college prospective athletes that may not naturally have access to these services.
We are committed to and passionate about helping today’s youth in underprivileged communities achieve their highest potential within their sport, equipping them with the physical and mental preparedness to succeed in college athletics and academics.
To help us achieve our mission, our program is built around the whole person year-round with engagement both in and off-season.
We were founded by influential black business owner, Ortege Jenkins, a Long Beach native who attended David Star Jordan High School lettering as a three-sport athlete in football, basketball and track, is a former University of Arizona collegiate dual sport basketball and football athlete, a former professional football player and owner of Long Beach’s One Body Strength and Conditioning.
